‘La Corrida’ is dedicated to young Picasso. He loved going to the bullfights and made a lot of drawings of La Corrida. In my painting Picasso is the bull and bullfighter at the same time. Fighting himself, Picasso "grabbed the bull by the horns" when still a child.
